To celebrate the launch of the Legends Sunglasses Collection, Temperley London partnered with Scott Williams to curate an exclusive escape for a group of key tastemakers to the luxurious Dar Arbala villa in Marrakech.

The Villa – Dar Arbala, an Exquisite Moroccan Retreat

Providing the perfect spots for our guests to indulge in moments of bliss; sun shaded terraces, crystal-clear pool waters and swinging hammocks, all surrounded by the landscapes of the Ourika Valley, a serene retreat for rejuvenation and relaxation.

The highlight of Dar Arbala is its rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. As the sun was setting, our guests enjoyed a sundowner with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Moroccan Culture – Markets and Gardens

One of Alice's favourite cities, Marrakech is known as the ‘the red walled city’. It is a vibrant melting pot of traditions, architecture, art and age old craftsmanship. With an intoxicating energy, the city is a barrage on all the senses.

We took our guests to the Medina markets which are teeming with an array of colours, scents and unique treasures. Immersed in the lively atmosphere, we weaved through the narrow alleys adorned with vibrant textiles, intricately crafted pottery and traditional Moroccan lanterns.

Le Jardin Majorelle – a botanical haven

In the afternoon we escaped to the Jardin Majorelle to enjoy the tranquillity of the botanical gardens - a much needed respite from the bustling city. The vibrant blue buildings with art deco and Moorish influences are surrounded by a rich array of exotic plants. A must see on a visit to the city.

El Fenn – a hidden oasis of calm

The luxury hotel in the heart of the medina was the perfect place to indulge in a restorative lunch while taking in the surroundings.
