A fresh take on the classic evening bag, with an embroidered crossbody strap, tasselled drawstring and pouch design showcasing the story’s ornate stitchwork on crepe back satin. The Alessia bag can be worn with the co-ordinating dresses and kimono or alone as a stand-out finishing touch.
Offbeat yet regal, the Alessia story offers a stunning range of eveningwear pieces. Strong, timeless silhouettes provide a base for hand-guided sequin and stitchwork: Tudor rosebuds interweave harmoniously with calligraphic flourishes and Italian fresco-inspired filigree motifs, with elements reminiscent of Jacobean blackwork, reimagined in bold contrasting shades.
Fusing inspiration across the ages, the embroidery is brought to life by hand, ensuring the distinct stitchwork is perfectly finished.

Process
Temperley prints are painstakingly hand-painted in-house. Motifs are collaged onto the body then lovingly engineered into compositions that work in harmony with the garment’s panelling, ensuring the printed fabric flows flawlessly across seam joints when the garment is constructed. The process is both meticulous and spontaneous, with an outcome that is truly unique and artisanal.
Materials
Committed to creating unique and original textiles, the Temperley team designs lace and woven fabrics in-house at our atelier, which are then crafted by our trusted partners at expert mills across the globe. We utilise best quality Italian tulle, soft and sheer, perfectly structured with a flawless drape. Another staple material includes luxurious silk, woven to create a lustrous effect, with a smooth and radiant finish, perfect for eveningwear.

With an ardent commitment to slow fashion, Temperley garments are lovingly produced in highly limited runs, and designed to last a lifetime with help of our expert Repairs & Alterations service.
